Chairs Monthly Update January 2026
I hope the coming 12 months will bring you good health, lots of laughter and happy adventures. To kick our year off, the talk at NEXT THURSDAY’s meeting (15th) is about Vintage garden tools. It sounds fascinating. And I believe there will be many items on display to illustrate the talk. What is the oldest garden implement you have?
Our January raffle will be raising money to go to the Motor Neurone Association BRING A FRIEND (family member ,neighbour etc) along to the meetings in Jan or Feb for FREE. This is a great time to help them make new friends and have more fun in 2026 with us,as part of our u3a Take care in the snow and ice and stay warm. Better weather and longer days are just around the corner.
☀️Information about your Renewal options and dates will be in a separate email which will come out soon.

The u3a ethos
The u3a is not a service-provider. It is a mutual aid organisation to which everyone is expected to contribute. Its success depends on the willingness of members to volunteer and help out in whatever way they can by:
- starting new groups
- giving talks
- assisting in the running of a group
- participating actively in the groups they join
- becoming a committee member
- doing other tasks to assist the smooth running of the Cheswick Green & District u3a.
