The Striders Group is a walking group that unfortunately is now inactive due to lack of a group leader.

Walks were local, the starting point is generally a maximum 30-minute drive from Cheswick Green, although most were closer than that.

Group members take it in turns to lead walks, usually two people “buddy” up to do this. The walk leaders choose the walk, the day and the date to suit them. Walk leaders are expected to reccy the route beforehand just to check it’s all OK. So there’s no fixed "programme"’ but this volunteer list creates a varied programme of walks through the year.
